• Yes, all attendees are responsible for making their own way to the conference. For most people, flying into Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) is the best option. From there, you can take the train to Herborn (the closest station to the hotel)

    Alternatively, you can drive directly to the hotel or take a train from your city.

  • You can take the S-Bahn (commuter train) directly from Frankfurt Airport to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. From there, take a train or trains to Herborn (Dillkr) Bahnhof.

  • The train from Frankfurt to Herborn is operated by a regional transport network, so tickets usually cannot be purchased far in advance. Instead, tickets can be bought on the day of travel in one of the following ways:

    • At Frankfurt (Main) Train Station at the ticket machines or the desk for regional trains

    • Through the DB Navigator app

    Trains run approximately every 30–60 minutes, depending on the time of day, and there are usually direct trains available if you prefer to avoid transfers.

    The one-way ticket price is about €20.

  • There are bus and taxi options from the train station to Rehe. EurECA will provide support and advice on the best way to get to the hotel from the train station closer to the conference.

  • Most participants from Schengen countries can enter Germany with just a valid ID or passport. Participants from other countries may need a visa—please check the entry requirements for your nationality before traveling.
